Welcome! I am an IAEDP Certified Eating Disorder Specialist that is licensed in both CA and HI. My approach to therapy comes from a humanistic standpoint, helping clients to better understand patterns that cause chaos or dysfunction in their lives. I work with those who come in to assist them in developing understanding, compassion, and knowledge around this chaos; as well as skills to overcome these difficulties. Each person's treatment, session, and therapy is individually personalized to meet your specific needs. I come from a person-centered approach, and practice mostly CBT, ACT and emphasize the therapeutic relationship.
I work primarily with athletes, coaches, and other professionals in the sports industry who are struggling with high pressured jobs. I focus on mental health support, mental well-being, eating disorder recovery, and other areas such as self care, work/life balance, and preparedness for transitioning to the next stage of their careers.
Currently my sessions are conducted 100% virtually. I provide telehealth sessions for those in both Hawaii and California. I provide a free 10 minute consultation if you would like to discuss questions regarding therapy, expectations, and insurance.
