I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate at Martin Counseling, under the supervision of Ashley Forster, M.Ed, LPC-S. I graduated from the University of Houston Victoria- Katy campus with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed my undergraduate studies at Sam Houston State University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
Since 2001, I have worked with survivors of Domestic Violence/Sexual abuse, as well as their loved ones. I have also worked with clients who have been victims of various crimes and patients in a clinical setting who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life changes, and grief. My clients have included children, adolescents, adults, couples
As a counselor, I believe that clients are experts on their own experiences and acknowledge that every experience is unique. I am passionate about my work as a counselor and look forward to working along with you through your journey of self-care and self-awareness.
