You may be struggling to find yourself, to know what you want to do or how you want to live. You may know that something needs to change but change feels impossible. You may have spent years feeling misunderstood, not good enough or insignificant. Emotions may feel overwhelming or you may spend most of your time feeling shut down and disconnected. You want to discover how to navigate the world in ways that honor who you really are and rewrite your beliefs about yourself and others in order to feel more connected and fulfilled. Change is hard, it always is, and I will hold the hope for you until you're ready.
I use a variety of techniques, including EMDR, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, ego state/internal family systems and psychodynamic therapy, to meet you wherever you are. As a therapist, my most important job is to hold a safe space. Allowing you to access all the messy, dark and beautiful parts of yourself in order to heal and live the life you want.
I believe you are not broken and that you already have all the answers in you. They may be buried and difficult to access but they are there. And if you don’t believe that yet, it’s okay. I’ve been there too. I believe in neuro-diversity, health at any size, social justice and that we don't have to conform to societal norms to live a fulfilling life.
