Life can throw numerous curve balls, and sometimes we need to expand our support system to persevere and carry on. Reaching out to meet with a counselor is not a sign of weakness, but rather shows bravery and a willingness for growth and change. When an individual makes the decision to enter counseling, it can be an intimidating choice during an already difficult time. It’s not always easy to be open and vulnerable with a counselor. I recognize the courage it takes and approach the therapist-client relationship as a collaborative experience throughout the process. We will work together as a team.
I have experience providing therapy for client's with a wide variety of presenting concerns. Some of these concerns include depression, anxiety, self-image, stress, grief/ loss, substance abuse, trauma, personal growth, life transitions, difficult childhood and family experiences, relationship concerns, anger, and codependency.
As we work to uncover and process your complex thoughts and feelings, I will always maintain focus in supporting you find a greater sense of peace, self-awareness, and hope. You can expect to meet in a supportive environment that maintains the highest level of respect for your therapy work.
