I work with young adults, adolescents, individuals, and families coping life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, launching into independence, and discerning sexual, gender, spiritual, and cultural identities. You may be at a crossroads in life and seek greater clarity, or wish to enjoy your life and relationships more deeply and feel more confident and self-secure. Maybe you would like to improve communication with family members or address anxiety, depression, a traumatic event or loss. Therapy is a safe place to learn new skills and work through barriers to reach your personal goals.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and Maryland certified clinical supervisor with over 25 years’ experience and am bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural. I am passionate about helping individuals and families reach greater self-acceptance and fulfillment using trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive, and family systems modalities.
I support my clients in finding paths to healing and deeper meaning. My approach is active, hopeful, and outcomes focused. It stems from the belief that individuals naturally incline toward wholeness and can clear barriers to find greater satisfaction in life.
