Hi, my name is Wendy, and I use She/Her/Ella/La pronouns. I am a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Latinx, relational cultural therapist, and empowering clients is at the heart of my work. My focus centers around supporting folks respond to anxiety, depression, PTSD, intimate partner violence, trauma, generational trauma, spiritual abuse, immigration trauma, navigating gender and sexuality identity or grief felt when navigating chronic medical health conditions.
I’m happy you are here and ready to take the first step in finding a therapist that fits. The theoretical lenses used to help support clients include, trauma-informed approach, relational cultural approach, harm reduction, anti-oppressive lenses, EMDR, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and culturally affirming approach and other modalities tailored to your needs.
During individual sessions (provided in either English, Spanish or Spanglish), I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space to promote healing, self-exploration, clarity and increase self-esteem. Whatever you are going through right now, I care and look forward to offering support throughout the therapeutic process.
