Recent Updates From Seven Peaks
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

Catherine M. Perusse, LCPC, NCC I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Idaho and a National Certified Counselor with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I love to work with adults and adolescents who are feeling stuck in an area of their life, be it personal, professional, or related to family/relationships. I offer brief, solution-based therapy that tackles issues often related to anxiety, stress, and depression. We all have wisdom and courage within us, sometimes, we need help reconnecting with those strengths, and tools to move through difficult issues. Specialties include adolescent depression, anxiety, suicide prevention, and individuals with and developmental disorders.
I have a particular passion and expertise for working with teenagers as they struggle to define their identities. When seeing teenagers, I work collaboratively with parents, family, school counselors, pediatricians and others to provide an optimum level of care. Other areas of passion lies in dealing with relationship issues, grief and trauma, and suicide prevention.
I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate atmosphere in which individuals can safely explore and work through feelings, thoughts, images and beliefs that may be keeping them stuck. I am eclectic in my orientation and offer a holistic, integrative approach to client-centered therapy, using EMDR, cognitive behavioral techniques, DBT and solution focused therapy.
