Recent Updates From Samuel Yuly
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

Hello! My name is Sam Yuly. I am a licensed professional counselor with my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. I have a strong background working with clients who have experienced significant trauma, struggle with their mood, and/or feel detached from themselves, their life, and the world around them.
I draw from a wide range of approaches, but have a strong foundation in existential, psychodynamic, and gestalt approaches. This means that sessions will often be approached holistically and include deep discussions surrounding life's biggest questions, an active exploration into your past in connection to the present, as well as a focus on increasing awareness of what you are experiencing at any given moment.
What you can expect from a session with me? We will build a strong therapeutic relationship in which painful experiences can be safely explored and processed, and then better integrated into your understanding of who you are and what your place is in the world. I will, at the same time, guide you in building skills to tolerate distress and ground yourself in the present. I may encourage you to give voice to different parts of yourself and dialogue between them.
I am currently accepting Aetna, Cigna, Geisinger, and Capitol Blue Cross Pennsylvania!
