Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Through exploring our emotional wounds and coping mechanisms we’ve developed in an attempt to manage them, peace can be restored to our life. My goal is to create supportive space that allows you to be heard, feel affirmed, and provides the calm needed to connect to your inner knowing. By working together to find meaning in past experiences and current challenges, you can reconnect with your calm, compassionate, and courageous sense of self.
I am Tessa Mulvaney, a professional counselor with a dual certification in mental health and school counseling. With 9+ years of combined experience as a high school teacher and school counselor, I am dedicated to working as your advocate and supporter to help you achieve your goals and navigate the joys and challenges of life confidently.
Our work together will manage the nervous system's responses to stressors, identify how relationships/attachments impact you, and develop healthy coping mechanisms to challenge negative thoughts/harmful behaviors. There is hope for feeling safe and at peace throughout your day. If you feel we could work together to accomplish your goals, please reach out!
