I provide gender-affirming and multicultural care for clients of all ages, races, etc. as they explore how the systems in which they exist interact with their wellbeing. We will work together to accomplish your mental health, wellness, education, and career goals.
Through a person-centered and motivational interviewing approach, clients will experience change in their lives. In order to accomplish this, I will rely on my wealth of experience from previous counseling experiences serving in a variety of settings (e.g., community mental health, school based counseling).
Growing up as a middle class African American in historically underserved schools, I experienced firsthand the impact of limited behavioral health providers dedicated to minority communities. The incidents that I experienced highlight one truth: There is no time to waste in answering the call of my community and providing care to those who need it the most.
