Hi. I am Bob Mitchell and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and a Certified Life Coach (CLC). I am a graduate of Asbury College, (B.A. Biblical Studies) and East Carolina University (Ma. ed. Counselor Education) and I have worked in the mental health field for over 25 years working with individuals, couples, troubled teenagers, and adults. I am an individual practitioner in Raleigh. People who come to me are often struggling with individual life issues and/or mental health issues that require a professional touch.
As a specialist completing Level 3 Training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, our initial focus often revolves around the couples primary expressed concerns in light of how to build a strong interactive relationship, understanding the nature of conflict, as well as regulating and managing conflict.
As we look at a couples strengths and challenges, assessments are available to pin point areas of concern, including how well you know each other, turning towards or away from each other and how you express your feelings towards each other during conflict. Connect to our website!
