Adults and parents come to this clinic wondering why things are so difficult in their or their child's lives. They often wonder whether their brain functions differently, like whether they may have ADHD or autism, memory concerns, or even a learning disability that was never addressed. Many feel as though they or their child have been "missed" by the school or mental health systems, or that other evaluators did not take their concerns seriously. In these cases, I will serve as your co-pilot to help you craft your evaluation questions and I'll help you make sense of the data we collect about you.
The Discovery Clinic offers neurodivergent-friendly psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and related concerns. I use an affirming approach that helps people understand their unique strengths, preferences, and needs, and how to make successful adaptations to make life easier or more enjoyable.
I have over two decades of experience working with neurodivergent individuals. I have conducted psychological and neuropsychological evaluations in school settings, inpatient brain injury hospital settings, primary care, and now in private practice. I hope to create an experience that helps your answer your questions in non-pathologizing ways.
