Recent Updates From Bianca Zhu
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
I believe that all individuals have the resources within themselves to heal and thrive, but sometimes they may need a bit of help bringing those resources out. By drawing upon your unique characteristics, I will work with you to gain a greater awareness of yourself, refine your strengths, and become the best version of yourself. While my overarching approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused, I draw from a range of different modalities, tailoring to the specific needs and personality of each individual.
I am particularly passionate about helping people work through trauma, self-esteem issues, and racial/cultural identity. So many of mental health struggles stem from formative relationships and experiences, whether the effects are overt or subtle. Let me help you not to move on from your past but move forward and grow from it.
A warning, though—healing is hard work. Be prepared to get out of your comfort zone and break out of familiar patterns. (After all, you're seeking therapy because what you're doing isn't working for you.) By reaching out for help, you've already taken the first step in your healing process, and I'm so excited for you to continue along your journey!
