Making the decision to pursue therapy is a huge step. It’s easy to push things down or avoid them, but making the choice to reach out shows strength. Maybe you’ve never had a safe space to share your true thoughts and feelings, or felt truly heard and understood. Let’s build that together here. My interests include assisting individuals in developing self-esteem and self-concept, as well as healthy and effective relationships with family, friends or partners. I also have experience working with those with anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. I do not work with families or couples.
I believe each person is unique, as well as their prior experiences that led them to this point. I strive to meet my clients “where they are”, and offer an individualized approach tailored to their needs. I am trained in trauma-informed care and work from an attachment theory lens. So, what does that mean?
Essentially, exploring your early life experiences to understand more about how you came to be who you are today. I believe that by examining our true selves and typical patterns, we can identify and modify maladaptive behaviors that may serve as roadblocks to our own quality of life. I look forward to meeting you and working together to achieve your goals!
