Recent Updates From Dr. Kathleen
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024

Therapy is an experience of collaboration and trust. I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs and preferences. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment and work from a strength-based perspective. I am interactive, not shying away from giving feedback, but fundamentally believe each individual has the capacity to set their own goals and measure their own success. I have extensive experience treating adults with a variety of disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and with those suffering from maladaptive coping strategies.
I also work with individuals who are unhappy with their relationships, their careers and those having difficulty with life transitions. I have worked with those trying to reconcile a history of abuse and/or neglect and those attempting to navigate and adjust to unexpected changes in one’s life.
I appreciate working with those that present to therapy with a curiosity to understand themselves more fully. I utilize evidence-based practices drawing on Cognitive/Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness and psychodynamic approaches, to assist you in understanding and addressing issues that prevent you from living a “life worth living.”
