Recent Updates From Elizabeth Bell
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024

I am a clinical social worker licensed in New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. I have over 15 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and life transition challenges. I have certifications in both child & adolescent psychotherapy and the treatment of eating disorders, and training in CBT through the Beck Institute. My perspective is psychodynamic and integrates attachment and trauma theories.
My approach to therapy is warm and empathic; I'm here to listen to you closely without judgment. I'm genuinely curious about my clients and ask lots of questions, reflecting on what I'm hearing to be sure I understand. Together, we’ll develop a trusting relationship in a safe space where you can openly share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
I believe in our inherent strength and resilience, drawing upon yours to help you feel better, change unwanted behaviors, and accomplish goals. It's important to know that our therapy is a collaboration, and I welcome your input and feedback throughout our time together. I encourage you to reach out for support, the first step towards feeling better.
