Recent Updates From Erin Goedegebuure
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
NO CURRENT AVAILABILITY--I have been practicing psychotherapy in the Susquehanna Valley for over 12 years. I work with individuals, couples, and families on the problems they experience in their lives and relationships. My style is gentle and I encourage an environment that is open and supportive. I help clients to be comfortable and candid about their thoughts and feelings, and to make important emotional and behavioral changes that are positive for their lives and their families. In addition to conducting therapy, I am an adjunct professor of psychology at Susquehanna University.
My approach in therapy is warm and pragmatic. I often incorporate humor, remind people of strengths, and examine perspectives perhaps not previously considered. The relationship between therapist and client is vitally important and must feel safe and comfortable. Building a meaningful relationship is perhaps my favorite part of this work.
I work with those affected by depression or anxiety, developmental transitions, moms and dads navigating the difficulties of parenting, women experiencing mental-health issues, and those dealing with loss. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I welcome people from all races, ethnicities, sexual or gender identifications, and backgrounds.
