Many of my clients say that they struggle with harsh self-judgement and strongly fear that they "aren't enough." What if negative self-talk or the negativity coming from others just didn't bother you as much?
I specialize in working with adults who experienced emotionally unavailable mothers and caregivers as a child. Through trauma informed therapy, we will focus on the impact of this experience through adolescence and into adulthood. I will help you drop the self judgement and anxiety. You will feel like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders.
If you have never been to therapy before, that's okay! If you have and still feel nervous, that's also totally understandable. My first goal is to help you feel comfortable in the process and then allow therapy to flow at a pace that works for you. I provide a lot of feedback to my clients and welcome feedback as well. Sometimes we laugh too!
