I believe that these struggles are not life sentences, and growth and self-actualization can be achieved through cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes.
With a trauma-informed and -sensitive approach, I create a nonjudgmental, empathic, and healing space for clients in my care. I generally employ cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) strategies in concert with mindfulness-based acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) interventions. I also find great joy in teaching clients about mental health and wellness.
I believe that an effective therapeutic relationship begins with authentic and genuine connection. When you meet me, you'll get the real me, not a facade.
