I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and National Certified Counselor (NCC), in Jacksonville, NC. I've spent my entire adult life working in some sort of helping profession. Prior to becoming a Mental Health Counselor, I served in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, I was also a teacher, and a School Counselor.
My educational background includes a BS in Elementary Education and a MS in Counselor Education. I've also been trained in various modalities to include CBT, EMDR, SFBT and Motivational Interviewing.
I am committed to providing individualized treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and trauma. As a Navy veteran, I also have a passion to work with military connected individuals. I work with tweens, adolescents, and adults. My goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental space for my clients.
