Sometimes the hardest thing to do is reach out and make that phone call for support. When a part of you realizes the issues or struggles are beginning to feel too overwhelming to manage alone. Although it may not feel like it at the time this is your inner strength that has always been there wanting to guide you forward on your path... Maybe you may feel stuck in certain areas of your life and wish to move forward but are unsure of how to do that. Or you have placed the needs of others before your own. Perhaps at times you might even feel unworthy of help. This is the time to invest in yourself and your potential.
I have had the privilege of working with clients for 18 years in a community mental health setting. I have also had the opportunity to work as a crisis counselor case manager in an emergency room supporting clients with their mental health. My experience has also involved working for an Employee Assistance Program providing brief counseling and support.
Creating a safe and trusting environment is the foundation for you to explore your feelings, thoughts and concerns. My goal is to provide a sense of calm, support and acceptance while we work together at your pace and comfort level. Always focusing on your unique strengths and resilience.
