Going to counseling takes guts. Its not easy to talk to someone you don't know about what you need help with, but if you will take the risk, you will feel better. Isn't that we all want? To feel better? I don’t have a magic wand to fix it all overnight, but I’ll walk through the hard times with you. Dealing with the past is hard. Being a parent is hard. Coping with stress is hard. Relationships are hard. Meeting the demands of life is hard. You don’t have to face all the hard stuff on your own! We will figure it out together. We will laugh together, I promise. Therapy can be fun(ish).
As we work together, I will hear you, respect the courage it takes to face your pain, and help you find a new way of experiencing the present. When we work through the painful parts of our past, they become a part of our stories instead something stealing the happiness from today. The best part about doing what I do is getting to see people find hope!
I have been helping people work through trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues for over 14 years. My approach to therapy is relaxed and positive. I am trained in EMDR, TFCBT, and utilize cognitive behavioral and somatic approaches. Together we will find a reason for you to laugh again!
