Recent Updates From Jackie Werboff
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

Hello and welcome. I help clients heal from trauma, adverse childhood experiences and perinatal stress. Trauma can look like unresolved event-based trauma (shock trauma) as well as attachment and relational wounding (developmental trauma) that manifest in various forms of emotional distress. The resolution of unresolved wounding is important in the healing process because such wounds keep us repeating the same unhealthy patterns in relationships, family systems and professional roles. And, perhaps most importantly, these wounds keep us disconnected from ourselves. I am also a Qualified Supervisor for MHC Registered Interns.

My approach is completely trauma-focused. In addition to complex trauma I also specialize in perinatal, postpartum and pro-choice mental health. The perinatal period is a profoundly challenging transition and does not just refer to the emotional needs of the mother or gestational parent, but rather all individuals involved in the care of a new human.
I am no stranger to the process of suffering or to that of healing. I meet my clients with an approachable, down to earth and gentle demeanor. I view myself as a fellow traveler, honored to walk alongside my client on their journey. I value my clients’ authenticity and emotional vulnerability, and I in turn do my best to embody and model these values myself.
