Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Hello, and Welcome! My name is Jessie Stempel, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. After receiving my degree and training from Columbia University I have spent the last eight years working with individuals and families covering trauma, mental health, and relationship & family dynamics. In my work, I have focused on clinical services for adults, adolescents, and children suffering from the psychological impact of trauma, stress, grief, loss, and family dysfunction. I have provided treatment for mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
I support children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling to manage symptoms related to a mental health diagnosis, life stressors, and past traumas. I have done extensive work around grief and loss, as well as family & relationship dynamics.
During our first session together we will explore what has brought you to therapy. We will talk about how you’ve been feeling and functioning in the time leading up to your coming to treatment. My goal for the first session is for us to build an initial connection, and together decide on how to move forward with treatment.
