Recent Updates From Kaitlin Ingebretsen
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I have experience working with a wide range of individuals across many settings including inpatient hospitals, schools, early childhood development centers, and outpatient offices. I offer support to children, teens, and young adults who are seeking support with life challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, trauma, neurodivergence, and defiant behavior. I take a client-centered approach to my therapeutic work which allows me to integrate different approaches to find what works best for each person. I endeavor to meet clients where they are and respond to them with authenticity and compassion.
As a professional counselor and dance therapist, I incorporate movement, body awareness, and the mind body connection through stillness, gross motor movement activities, bringing awareness to somatic experiences and body sensations. By focusing on both verbal and non-verbal communication, I can best support my clients’ overall growth, healing, and wellbeing.
I look forward to learning how I can best support you or your child in improving your quality of life and well-being!
