It takes tremendous courage to ask for help and to address intense emotions during therapy. I provide a safe and comfortable space for you to begin this powerful and healing journey. From the moment you walk into my office, you will be supported as we work together to develop a realistic plan addressed to your needs so that you can move forward with your life. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders. My training as a family therapist enables me to provide additional support and guidance to family members throughout their loved one's treatment process.
I practice from a psychodynamic perspective, believing the past influences our present. Together, we can review your emotions, thoughts, early-life experiences and beliefs to help you gain insight into your life and issues challenging you. We then evaluate your maladaptive behavior patterns, and transform them to more adaptive, productive behaviors.
My clinical training, combined with my prior career in both the computer and finance industries, gives me a unique understanding of issues related to the workplace. Seeking career advancement, changing companies, overcoming fear of public speaking, and achieving work/life balance are just a few of the many issues I am able to help you navigate.
