Recent Updates From Candace Rodgers
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

My goal is not to make you forget your past or the people in your past but to help you make those experiences a healthy part of your future life. The past should be something we can live with, a place to start and build a better tomorrow. I believe you are the key healing.
Not having words or space to share our narrative of past events holds us forever in bonds. Learning to work with our body and brain to reframe our past events assists in reducing shame and negative cogntive beliefs. Sitting with someone and helping them recover their voice is instumental in promoting future physical and mental wellness.
Grief and trauma are both difficult and sacred stories for a clinician to hold. Patience is the greatest gift another person can give. Be patient with your healing and draw on the knowledge that the answers you seek are within. Trauma causes a loss of verbal expression, grief causes confusion, both require rebuilding of self.
