Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I look forward to working alongside you to help navigate the challenges that you are facing and to help you explore and uncover any beliefs or patterns that may have kept you safe at one point in time, but are no longer serving you. I am trauma informed and utilize EMDR to help you reprocess your trauma as well as DBT to develop more skillful techniques for living as a survivor of trauma. I am very experienced in working with the LGBTQ, transgender, kink and polyamorous communities. I also have unique personal and professional experience and training in helping others through the grieving and bereavement processes.
Sixteen years of practicing social work has given me experience working with: survivors of trauma, those who are grieving, people in the Queer/LGBT community, people struggling with gender identity issues or who are in the process of transitioning as well as the polyamorous and kink communities.
One of the hardest parts of counseling is making the initial contact to establish a therapeutic relationship, you have come this far and I know that was not easy, take the next step and contact me to co-create your personalized plan to embark on a more fulfilling life.
