New motherhood is, for many people, a time of joy. It can also be a time of stress and conflicting emotions. All of the expectations and pressure can be a lot to deal with. This especially true now during the COVID-19 pandemic! If you want to talk with someone who "gets it," if you or someone you care about are pregnant, have recently had a baby, or have older children and do not like the way you are feeling or just find that you would like some extra support, please give me a call! I also welcome clients dealing with issues not related to motherhood or parenting, such as stress, life transitions, depression, and anxiety.
I am passionate about helping new mothers adjust to motherhood, whatever that means for each individual. My postgraduate training is in perinatal mental health, CBT, and EMDR, but the most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship we build together. My passion helps me connect to moms of all circumstances!
Navigating the waters of new motherhood can be challenging, but you do not have to do it alone. I will be here with you and hold space for you while we work together to support you in this new chapter of your life. I look forward to hearing from you!
