Recent Updates From Ray Conner
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
My clients are couples, or individuals in consensually non-monogamous (CNM) or untraditional relationships, who want to work on their connection, communication, and intimacy with their partner(s). I also work with couples who struggle with significant trust issues, or who are navigating step-family dynamics. We'll explore the cognitive, emotional, physical, cultural and spiritual aspects of your relationship(s), using research-informed therapy models and more open-ended explorations. If you are struggling to connect with your partner(s) or family members, identify as LGBTQIA2+, BIPOC, or non-monogamous, I'd love to meet you!
I graduated from the Couple and Family Therapy Institute at AUNE, and am currently working towards NH licensure. I am nearly finished with my Certificate in Trans Affirmative Therapy, and have a specific interest in offering affirmative care for folx in queer relationships. I also offer couples and family therapy with cishet folx and families.
I approach all clients as people interacting with systems (intimate, familial, friend, neighbor, community, political, physiological, etc.), and love to work with clients to feel personally empowered within these complex systems. I am strengths-based, compassionate, and straightforward. I engage clients in dialogue that fosters personal insight.
