Recent Updates From Rebecca Madsen
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I believe that we all have a deep well of wisdom within us, and my role as a therapist is to be a guide to help you tap into yours. I choose to focus on your strengths, to help you see them, and to use a collaborative approach as we work together on a journey of healing. I specialize in maternal mental health, infertility, trauma, bereavement, and relationship struggles. In my prior work as a doula, I found great passion in supporting families and now continue doing so by focusing on mental health during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
I also enjoy working with young adults and older teens, helping them with anxiety, depression, scrupulosity (compulsive moral/religious observance), and perfectionism.
I use a variety of therapies including EMDR, CBT, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Motivational Interviewing. I adjust your care according to what best fits your specific needs. I would love to meet you and hope to start our work together soon!
