ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS! (Currently utilizing tele-therapy via secure video/telephone conferencing in order to meet client needs during this time of uncertainty). My ideal client is open to growth and change. He or she is seeking self-discovery within a safe and trusting environment; the goal is a peaceful and enriched life. The client is an active participant in the therapeutic process of guided exploration of past and current issues. Together we integrate and resolve traumatic experiences, as well as work through current conflicts and concerns. The ultimate objective is to live a meaningful and fulfilled life.
I have an extensive background in trauma work. Additionally, I have received intensive training in depression, anxiety, stress management, conflict resolution, as well as grief and bereavement. I received a Certificate for the Treatment of Child Sexual Abuse. I maintain a Certification as a NJ School Counselor. I work with adults, adolescents and children.
I completed my undergraduate education at Northwestern University and Master's Degree/Post-Master's coursework in Psychological Counseling at Monmouth University. I am an adjunct psychology professor at Brookdale Community College and a volunteer with women's organizations. I seek to help people heal, reach their goals and become all they were meant to be.
