I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) providing mental health services to school- aged Children (5 to 12), Adolescents, and Adults. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida in 2011. I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida in 2013. I have been working in the mental health field for about five years. I have received my training in Level II EMDR by EMDRIA and is currently participating in the prestigious North Carolina Child Treatment Program for Certification and Rostering in TF-CBT.
I have worked as an outpatient therapist, in residential homes,child development programs, and have provided In- Home services in addition to working in Private Practice. I have experience working with a broad range of presenting problems such as but not limited to;
Attention- Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Abuse Reactions. I use Evidence Based Practices such as Trauma Focused CBT, DBT as well as EMDR. I am also skilled in Child Centered Play Therapy and CBT therapy for children. I incorporate parents in the children's treatment as appropriate.
