It’s okay to ask for what you need. This is something I need to remind myself of on a daily basis. So many of us focus intently on making sure everyone else is taken care of and we completely abandon ourselves and ignore our own needs. This leaves us feeling exhausted, depleted, and quite frankly, resentful because we think to ourselves “why isn’t anyone taking care of me?” I teach my clients what a healthy relationship looks like because if this wasn’t modeled to you at some point throughout your life, no one can expect you to know what it means. View 7 Photos I support my clients in individual, couple's, family, intensive, and group therapy. Some of my specialties include trauma, codependency, identity, relationships, addiction, anxiety, and depression. I support my clients in learning how to reparent themselves by identifying and fulfilling their own needs and establishing boundaries with others. At first, learning to follow through with boundaries is scary, hard, and uncomfortable, and I walk through those muddy waters with my clients, so they never feel alone. Together we will find your strengths, as well as practices, techniques and skills to improve your overall happiness and quality of life.

Many of our clients look good on the outside, yet feel mildly miserable on the inside. Pain is motivating and when clients are hurting, they call to schedule an appointment. It takes more than intellect to change behavior. Most of our clients are intelligent and know what they "should" do, yet struggle to take action. Our team works with people (or partners) who struggle with substances and behavioral medicators such as alcohol, porn, overeating and codependency. We treat individuals, couples and families that need help with addiction, mental illness, infidelity or simply feeling stuck. It is a relief to not have to do it alone.. View 8 Photos We typically work with addicts and/or family members of addicts that are suffering with codependency and family of origin issues. In the work, we often discover that the addict behavior covers up feelings that surround unresolved trauma. Helping clients resolve this underlying trauma creates new and healthy ways to connect, be seen and get one's needs met. We work experientially, bringing action & feeling to the process rather than simply talking about it. Clients find this exciting, freeing and relieving. By working this way, clients can rely on their clarity that comes from the work. We have found working in 90 minute blocks allows more time & helps clients feel seen and heard in a profoundly healing way.
