Recent Updates From Brian Carreira
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Do your thoughts and feelings seem like they get the best of you or take you away from what you want to be doing in life? I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults, adolescents, and couples to learn and practice strategies to address these difficult thoughts and feelings and do the things that matter to them. I help clients develop healthy responses to thoughts and feelings through using tools to address discomfort and pain while also clarifying what matters and finding ways to do things that lead towards a meaningful life.
I help clients address feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, grief, and loss; to better manage stress, achieve work-life balance, and examine substance use. I incorporate elements of behavioral, solution-focused, and family systems approaches to support wellness. I have worked as a hospital chaplain and hold an M.Div. in addition to my counseling degree.
Positive change can happen and you can bring it about in your life. I believe that becoming aware of who you are, what you are all about, and what you are already doing well can bring about the positive shifts in life that you seek. I look forward to helping you be empowered to face life's problems and make choices that lead you towards a valued way of life.
