Ms. Christian approaches counseling with a strength-base perspective, meeting clients where they are to help them get to where they want to be. She is an outside the box thinker when helping her clients understand that they are an integral part of reaching their goals towards healing. As a military spouse, she has experience about the stressors and culture of the military. She has taken this experience to further provide care to people in the LGBTQIA+ military community as well.
Her professional experience has primarily focused on the support of adult mental health patients in the areas of trauma, dual-diagnosis substance abuse, chronic illnesses, severe anxiety, LGBTQIA+ community, and military trauma. She bases her care through trauma informed, strength based and CBT treatment protocols.
