Everyone goes through times in life that are overwhelming and you have good reason to feel the way you do. The good news is you don’t have to endure things alone. I believe (and research supports) that counseling helps us find new ways of navigating painful experiences. People find counseling to be helpful for a variety of reasons: having space to process confusing emotions, feeling understood and supported, learning new ways of coping, and engaging in a trusting and therapeutic relationship.
My areas of interest and specialty include: general mental health, depression & anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationships & family of origin, multicultural & identity concerns, LGBTQIA+ issues, emotional development & resiliency.
