Therapy is a journey whereby you are driving the car and I am in the passenger seat with a map. I will invite
you to take pit stops to explore opportunities or challenges, assessment the potential exits and turns, and
challenge you when roadblocks arise. Eventually, you will kick me (no hard feelings) but You will continue
on your journey toward change, acceptance, and growth.
In the past two years, we have collectively engaged in identity, relationships, social justice, and overall
wellness challenges. I provide individual therapy to address diversity, racial/ethnic trauma, international/
expat concerns, cultural conflicts, and identity development. I seek to assist people in enriching their lives
with meaningful, loving, and compassionate relationships. I utilize Gottman and Emotional Focused Therapy
tools to orient You into finding solutions and tools that work.
I recently return from Japan serving as a Military Family Life Counselor with our service members and their
families for the past 4 years. I appreciate the opportunity to serve various cultural groups and identifies in
generating a better You.
I am active in my communities and a proud alumna of Spelman College. I also volunteer with Girl Scouts,
Junior League of Dallas, and Give An Hour.
