Recent Updates From Tina Tarin
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

I take a person-centered approach to treatment, with a specific focus on the intersection between psychology and biology. My approach to therapy includes cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, experiential therapy, and trauma-focused interventions. I have expansive training and experience working with trauma, PTSD, mood and personality disorders, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, self-harming behavior, gender and sexual identity issues. I include a psychoeducational focus on the biology of distress, to help heal the mind-body disconnect that often creates challenges to progress in treatment.
I am certified as a Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS) by the Arizona Trauma Institute. I utilize trauma focused interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT), Schema Therapy, Inner Child Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Approved as a Clinical Supervisor by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health.
I create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to engage in healing. I provide affirming care to adults, adolescents, children, and the LGBTQIA community. I would be honored to walk side-by-side on your journey from surviving to thriving.
