It takes strength to get on here and look for a therapist. Regardless of whether you’re trying to work through a problem, grow as a person or couple, or just need someone to listen, seeking therapy means seeking change – and I think that takes guts! No matter what we’re discussing, my focus is always on seeing your world as you see it – because I believe that real healing begins when we have a compassionate and non-judgmental space in which we can freely express ourselves and feel understood.

I take a culturally sensitive approach and draw from a number of different perspectives including cognitive-behavioral therapy (challenging unhelpful thoughts and beliefs), narrative therapy (looking at the stories we tell ourselves), mindfulness (noticing what we are experiencing in the present moment), and existential therapy (finding meaning in life).
Although I am only in-network with Cigna and Horizon BCBS plans (traditional and managed care plans), I work with ALL insurance companies as long as you have out of network benefits. The cost for services may not be as much as you think. Please contact my office to find out more about how we work with your benefits
