Recent Updates From John Reininger
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

I have been in private practice for over twenty-five years. Therapy is a process that can help you get "unstuck" from issues that compromise the quality of life and personal potential. My overall apporach is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I hold national certifications in grief and trauma work. Establishing a balance between good physical, mental, and spiritual health is essential. Christian values form the foundation of my life and practice. The book "Dog Walking - Reflections Through the Seasons" encapsulates my general philosophy. Finally, I have the privilege of working with couples and individuals. Please contact me for additional information.
Grief is a part of life. Learning to live a healthy life with grief is the challenge. It could be the death of a family member (pets included), loss of a relationship, health, or job - all are life changing. The quality of that change is up to you.
Relationships are "on the job training"! Not one is perfect but all relationships have the potential of being a vehicle for individual and corporate growth. Effective communication skills, expectations, cooperation are some of the "tools" that need to be developed. Healthy relationships are about love and learning.
