Recent Updates From Kristen Ales
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

My mission is to help you build a loving and trusting relationship with your body free from eating disorders. Together we will explore your past history of experiences, relationships, and the social constructs that have led you to believe that your body is something that "needs to be fixed". Our work will be focused on healing those experiences, and applying lessons to your current life. In our work we will examine how your disordered eating or negative body image is impacting your life, relationships and goals. We will work to let go of the insecurities that are holding you back from living fully and showing up authentically.
As a counselor I will bring a sense of curiosity, compassion and warmth to our sessions and work we do together. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. Through a variety of therapeutic modalities, and listening to your individual needs, together we will will create a peaceful environment for healing and growth to occur and create lasting change.
Taking the first step towards getting help is always the hardest, I am happy to take the time to ease your anxiety about working with a therapist. Please reach out to schedule a complimentary 15-30 minute consultation. Looking forward to hearing from you. Now accepting clients.
