Recent Updates From Jenny Schermerhorn
Last updated | Tuesday March 25, 2025

Everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space to process, reflect and heal. I am passionate about providing my clients a space to examine patterns and behaviors that are no longer serving them and move forward with their lives in an empowered, healthy way. No matter what your current challenges and needs are, we can work together to establish realistic goals for therapy that will help move you toward creating the life and relationships you want.

With a warm and empathic style, I aim to help clients gain a sense of awareness, hope, understanding and relief from the symptoms that brought them to therapy. I enjoy working with individual clients across the lifespan. I also enjoy working with couples and frequently integrate Gottman principles, EFT, and DBT into these sessions.
As a therapist, I am trauma-informed and use an integrative approach, specifically pulling from client-centered and strengths-based approaches. Additionally, I love to incorporate DBT and CBT for more concrete strategies. I also have training in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Exposure Response Therapy for anxiety.
