English | español I enjoy providing clients with therapy sessions they find purposeful and fulfilling to what their life needs. This can be through psychoeducation, hands-on creativity ventures, or a connection with nature and the outdoors. I support clients through different stages of their life from adolescence, to young adulthood, and adulthood. I specialize in having a vast DBT and CBT toolbox for symptoms of anxiety and depression. I am equipped to support clients navigate their worldview through a trauma-focused approach, learning to support and re-parent themselves through self-compassion and kindness. I am attentive to the different “parts” of ourselves wanting change, yet complying with the “norm” of the current situation we find ourselves in. I love exploring topics that can further increase how we embody oneself- such as sexual development and sexual identity. The way parents, peers, and society vicariously educated us may have encouraged vexed feelings about our sexuality. Sexual development is a normal and healthy topic to process due to past trauma, body image/self-embodied experience, and a disconnection with our body and sexual stigma. Allow me to walk with you on this journey.

View 4 Photos With a warm and empathic style, I aim to help clients gain a sense of awareness, hope, understanding and relief from the symptoms that brought them to therapy. I enjoy working with individual clients across the lifespan. I also enjoy working with couples and frequently integrate Gottman principles, EFT, and DBT into these sessions. As a therapist, I am trauma-informed and use an integrative approach, specifically pulling from client-centered and strengths-based approaches. Additionally, I love to incorporate DBT and CBT for more concrete strategies. I also have training in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Exposure Response Therapy for anxiety.
