Second Chance Counseling Services licensed professionals that specialize in Christian Counseling, TF-CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Creative Arts, EMDR, & More. We service children, adolescents, & adults using a strengths-based approach. The practice treats ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar, grief, PTSD, personality & eating disorders, trauma, and more. Our process is to partner with our patients, empower, encourage, build skill sets, develop coping skills, learn grounding techniques & resilience to overcome the past and present.

Second Chance Counseling Services also specialize in writing sexually harmful behavior assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and firesetting risk assessment tools for youth (FRAT-Y). PHQ-9 and GAD-7 are used to assess levels of anxiety and depression. Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (CSSR-S) is used to assess for suicidal ideation and lethal means.
Second Chance Counseling Services is experienced in working with juvenile offenders, adolescents in residential settings, victims of all crimes, and building resiliency to bounce back. We utilize various assessments, including Pediatric Symptom Checklist, Child Adolescent Trauma Screen, Scared Brief Assessment, and Mood & Feeling Questionnaire to name a few.
