The practice treats ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar, grief, PTSD, personality & eating disorders, trauma, and more. Second Chance Counseling Services also specialize in writing sexually harmful behavior assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and firesetting risk assessment tools for youth (FRAT-Y). PHQ-9 and GAD-7 are used to assess levels of anxiety and depression. Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (CSSR-S) is used to assess for suicidal ideation and lethal means.

We utilize various assessments, including Pediatric Symptom Checklist, Child Adolescent Trauma Screen, Scared Brief Assessment, and Mood & Feeling Questionnaire to name a few.
