Recent Updates From Elizabeth Benson
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

I am a Prepare Enrich Facilitator and I have training in EFT (Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy) and Gottman Methodologies. Prior to becoming an LMFT, I was a school counselor for 8 years and I continue to enjoy working with adolescents. My ideal clients would include couples, adolescents, families, and individuals. My special interests include couple's work, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief work, adjustment issues, parenting, and working with Latinos. My Professional memberships include AAMFT.
At Solace our work with families, couples, and individuals of all ages is interactive and pays attention to culture ethnicity, community expectations, and families of origin. We strive to work in a positive, personal environment where honesty and humor are hallmarks of our collaborative journey.
The idea for Solace Counseling came from the collaboration of three women who wholeheartedly believe it is important to treat every person as an individual and feel honored that clients share their life stories.
