Accepting New Clients

Average Rating

My philosophy in counseling is to provide a safe place, a listening ear, an open mind, and practical treatment of each client. My vision is to help each person "make life manageable, one moment at a time." I have a working background in behavioral issues, depression, anxiety and personality disorders. I have extensive experience in the field of substance use disorders and relapse prevention. Additionally, I have worked with people of different backgrounds and demographics both in and out of the office for the last decade. I want to be a safe place for those who are trying to move beyond their particular issue. No judgment, no stereotype....just a place a safety with a genuine approach to wellness.

Accepting New Clients

I am currently putting a pause on accepting new clients. I help people who struggle with anxiety, chronic or invisible illness, intimacy issues, and partners that have experienced betrayal. Interpersonal relationships can be severely impacted when a person is suffering from any mental health challenge. I help people find healthy ways to cope with their problems, process past events and give support during current concerns. Sex worker and LGBT ally. I offer telehealth sessions and "Walk and Talk." I am trained in the use of Accelerated Resolution therapy which is helpful for trauma, anxiety, and many other concerns. I am a CSAT-candidate and also a CPTT candidate. We are not born with healthy coping skills. These are learned, or not, as we age. I work collaboratively with my clients to explore their strengths and weaknesses. Once identified, they can learn to draw on those strengths during tough times and also learn to improve in other areas. Compassion, respect, and acceptance are present in every session.
