I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I specialize in treatment of anxiety (including obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic, phobias, discomfort in any social situation, separation anxiety), child and adult ADD/ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, parent/child difficulties, and coping with chronic and/or life-threatening medical illness. I will help you develop effective coping skills, healthier habits, and new tools for future use. My goal is to reduce anxiety and depression, to increase confidence, and create lasting change. I do neuropsychological testing for youth and adults who may have learning differences. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. CBT and ACT are highly effective and efficient ways to find relief for a variety of difficulties. I take a focused, practical approach to finding solutions that will fit each unique individual. I also conduct neuropsychological testing which can help understand I have been a therapist for 25 years. I help my clients feel a sense of confidence and empowerment in their lives. I provide personalized treatment based on techniques that are known to be effective. I also do neuropsychological testing for children and adults who are struggling with school, or wondering about ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning difficulties.

Anxiety, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in kids can show up in big ways and leave families spiraling. Being a parent of two myself I get that we can’t always prevent our kids from struggling, but we can give them the skills to thrive in the face of life's challenges. With skill building through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), I help kids and parents develop a toolbox of evidenced based strategies to face their fears and courageously take back their lives from anxiety and OCD. The therapy I provide focuses on teaching children to be aware of their own emotions, to notice and critically evaluate their thoughts and to employ adaptive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and other self-soothing skills to help themselves remain grounded in difficult situations rather than getting swept away by worry or big emotions. For over a decade I have successfully helped children build skills to manage stress, improve mood, increase self-regulation, and optimize potential. My playful, energetic, and collaborative style connects with kids and I prioritize finding fun, developmentally-appropriate ways to individualize treatment. It’s closely located to local schools. It is in a beautiful space with the option to sit outside. I help people with many emotional issues which include feeling depressed, anxious - physical and emotional pain. The common threads that bring many people to my office relate to difficulties in their relationships, divorce, life changes, loss, parenting, work, and sexuality, to name a few! I work with individuals and couples to improve their life. My cultural background has enriched my understanding and compassion for people. I've had difficult circumstances to over come in my life and my own therapy has been a profoundly life changing experience.
