As the founder of Inspired Resolutions my goal is to provide more effective and consistent services for teens, families, and marriages. With over 18 years of experience I began at the Substance Abuse Foundation. I then joined with "Shields for Families" working with the middle and high school population in Compton. In 2007 I became a Drug Court therapist on a collaborative team including probation and legal experts. I am one of the few therapists that has integrated mental health with nutrition and physical health. I am currently proud to be a part of the With Hope Foundation, a non-profit committed to teaching and understanding teen suicide in schools. I have also partnered with Servite High School in helping any of their students who are struggling with school, family, or social situations. I am eager to help families and parents find happiness no matter what issues are going on. In support of parents who are loving but struggling I offer a free weekly "Parenting Difficult Teens" support group on Monday nights from 7- 8:30pm.

After sustaining a spinal cord injury leaving me paralyzed and wheelchair bound at age 15, my life was turned upside. Following my accident, I experienced first-hand the true power of focusing on what I have, not what I lost. I looked for solutions rather than focusing on my problems to conquer my daily challenges. I developed a passion for inspiring and helping others overcome struggles and become best versions of themselves. I received my Master of Science in Counseling emphasizing Marriage and Family Therapy at Cal State University, Fullerton. I started my career at Outreach Concerns working in the school system with today's youth. This is where I realized the importance of working with teens and the impact I was having on them. My love for gaming and sports has helped me connect with teens and create a safe therapeutic space Having acquired a disability has forced me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to accomplish goals I never thought possible. As a therapist at Inspired Resolutions, I integrate my experiences with extreme loss, trauma, grief, anger, and hopelessness to connect with my clients, promote healing and growth, as well as the impact of faith and spirituality.
