Unable to accept new clients at this time. I excel in assisting clients with conflict, relationship issues, communication, life stressors, transitions, couples counseling, premarital counseling, and substance abuse. I incorporate the well-known Gottman method into my work, which not only benefits couples, but individuals through a special couples lens that not all therapists can provide. My background working with psychiatric crisis services allows me to gently approach the most challenging situations you bring. I help clients heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I focus on helping couples and individuals looking to move past emotional sticking points limiting their abilities to be their best selves. I embrace a coaching and educational style to help strengthen from within. The goal is to help you create a path to your goals Counseling services can be intimidating. Not only do you have to get comfortable with the idea of sharing your intimate thoughts and emotions, but you also need to find the right fit for you to even begin sharing. I am happy to schedule a free consult to help with this.

I believe counseling should be more than just managing symptoms and changing behavior. we each have a story that may be effecting how we are living life today. Additionally, many times in life we experience loss and this goes unprocessed, unheard, and many people become silent sufferers, which can then lead to more significant mental health struggles. By helping individuals and couples mourn their loss, I help individuals not get stuck in their grief and find renewal, balance, hope and healing. I am a licensed professional counselor with 20 years experience working in the mental health field. Having worked in a wide range of settings from psychiatric hospitals, large health care systems and in private practice, I have refined my skills and have chosen to specialize in Grief and Loss, Trauma Healing, EMDR, and Couples therapy. I believe that everyone struggles with something, though not all struggles look the same. I am honored to use my natural skill sets to help individuals find healing in their life and their relationships through looking at the present, past, and future through objective compassionate eyes.

I'm a therapist with Centus Counseling, a top-tier provider of behavioral health services in the metro-Denver area. I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling. I work with people from all stages of life to help them improve self-awareness, draw on their personal strengths, develop new skills, and aid in creating positive change. Together, we can start the work towards a deeper understanding of self, the environment around us, and how to align the two together. Allow me to help bring you towards a greater sense of hope and peace. I work with adults 18 and older who are challenged by the struggles they face with anxiety and/or depression. I utilize CBT, client-centered, narrative, and systems theories. All of my appointments are either by phone or zoom. Therefore, you can attend therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or on the go.

(Currently OOO on maternity leave, will return Jan 2024) I am happy to hold a safe space for you and serve as a guide to help you find the change you're looking for. It is very important to me that I don't use a one size fits all approach and that we work together to tailor my skills to meet your needs, because I may be the professional but you are the expert in your life. Together, we will discover what you are needing in order to achieve peace and balance. As a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), I will bring a systemic perspective to the therapeutic process. You can expect to grow in naming and better understanding your emotional experiences so as to gain more clarity, confidence, and compassion for yourself and others. I specialize in working with individuals and couples wanting to improve communication and connection. I believe it is brave to reach out for help, and I would love to be a part of your journey to accomplish your goals. I am happy to answer any questions about myself and/or what to expect in working with me.
